Solution
Smart Farm Management
We use drones and AI to visualize growing conditions across entire farms. Data-driven management reduces the workload involved in doing rounds of farms and entering records. It supports more efficient farm operations.
Yield and Quality Improvement
We rapidly assess crop growing conditions and signs of abnormalities. Well-timed cultivation management helps produce larger yields and more consistent quality.
Sustainable Farming
Appropriate pesticide and fertilizer use reduces the environmental impact of farming. Our goal is to efficiently use resources to achieve both high productivity and sustainability.
Case Study

Demonstration Farm in Panabo City
In the past, I had to walk through each of my fields to check on them and count plants. It was a very time intensive process.
I tried counting plants using aerial photographs, and it showed me the potential for using this approach to assess the conditions of all my fields in much less time.
I believe I could also use this to forecast crop yields, which would help me conduct more systematic cultivation management.
Discovering missing plants or growth abnormalities early on would enable me to take rapid steps to prevent the spread of disease.
I don’t just see this solution as a way to make cultivation management more efficient, but also as a new tool that will help me out with making management decisions.

Demonstration Experiment
The Philippines' banana industry faces various issues, such as the growing damage caused by TR4 or the heavy workload involved in assessing production conditions.
To address these issues, we’ve partnered with the Philippine Department of Agriculture and Department of Science and Technology to develop technology for using AI to analyze aerial photographs such as drone photographs. Three farms in the Davao area are now being used as demonstration experiment sites to verify the use of this technology in early stage TR4 detection and for counting banana plants.
If this technology is commercially released, it will make it possible to quickly and quantitatively determine conditions across entire farms, formulate measures for improving productivity, and produce more detailed production statistics.
Our goal is to use this technology to contribute to the sustainable development of the Philippines’ banana industry.
